Europe | Rome | Vatican Museum

My husband and I spent a very busy day in Rome. We had arrived by train from Florence the evening before and saw most of Rome in one day. It was a slightly warmer than the other cities we had visited which was very much welcome!

The Vatican Museum was fascinating with so much to see! One thing that surprised me though, was the size of the Sistine Chapel. It was a lot smaller than I had imagined, but spectacular!

I think my husband may have taken most of these photos :)

Europe | Pisa

From Paris, we went to Pisa. What a lovely city! It was lovely seeing the Leaning Tower as well as the incredible architecture of the Duomo.

2012 is all about improvements and challenges! And because of this, I have decided to take part in Alana Meyer's 52 Project. There are 52 themes; one theme per week of the year. Wish me luck, some of the themes look interesting!

This week's theme is New.  This lovely Pandora charm was given to my by my husband for Christmas. I look forward to adding it to the collection I have already!

For the life of me I could not get these two images the same size! They are the same dimensions!

Europe | Paris

In 2009 my husband and I travelled through Europe. The first place we stopped in was Paris. I loved this city and look forward to when I can go back, hopefully in summertime!
